You're holding a lot
Responsibility for your company, your firm, your team, the revenue, or people’s salaries.
You’re used to making decisions and keeping everything moving, even under pressure.
You make sure your family and their future are well taken care of.
You show up strong
You’re very good at what you do.
You’re someone who delivers, solves problems, and takes responsibility.
Your competence is not in question.
What hardly anyone sees is how much inner pressure, sustained focus, and self-discipline it takes.
You're relied upon
You’re someone people count on.
You keep things running, steady, reliable, and composed.
You operate so smoothly that no one sees how little room remains for you –
for rest, for enjoyment, or for what really matters to you.
You keep going, and slowing down doesn't feel like an option.
You’re a doer, no question. But really switching off? That can be hard. Sleep is short; your system’s always on. Maybe you’re firing off emails at 1 a.m., and part of you is even proud of your stamina. Still, there’s this thought that shows up:
„Do I really want to keep going like this?“
You already know:
This is your one life.
You don’t want to look back in ten years and realize you ran yourself into the ground and ended up paying for it with your health and your happiness.
You’ve seen it happen, colleagues or people you know who pushed on for years, and then suddenly couldn’t anymore.
You don't want that to be your story.
You'd never admit that you're not doing well. Instead, you tell yourself:
-
“This is a necessary phase.”
-
“I have to go all in for the next few years.”
-
“I just need a break.” — and what you really mean is finally catching up on everything that’s piled up.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Let's talk
Beneath it all, there's something you can't quite name.
A subtle inner emptiness.
A gradual loss:
-
of connection,
-
of the habits that used to support you,
-
and, at some point, your sense of being fully alive.
The feeling that you've somehow drifted away from yourself.
Wanting security, success, and recognition is perfectly fine.
But it shouldn't cost you your health, your relationships, or your personal well-being.
You want to feel
like yourself again.
Productive and thriving at work.
Present and truly alive in your life.
Like back in your twenties. When a weekend in the mountains with friends
was just a weekend, not the only free space between projects.
When energy came naturally.
Self-connection
You want to keep showing up for your responsibilities — without losing who you are.
More ease
You want to move through your days with a greater sense of lightness and freedom.
Being at home
You want to come home at the end of the day and actually be there, present with yourself and the people you love.
Aliveness
You want a life that’s not only successful on the outside, but feels fully alive on the inside.
I know what it's like to live in performance mode.
I remember the years when I led strategy for well-known digital agencies, worked with international brands, and moved constantly between Munich, Frankfurt, Chicago, New York, and Tokyo.
Successful, and exhausted.
My head was full of deadlines, pitches, and the constant pressure to deliver. I lived in PowerPoint decks and business-class lounges, quietly searching for meaning.
When my brother died at 28 in Afghanistan, something became very clear to me: I wasn’t willing to postpone my life any longer.
I stepped away from my career, trained as an Executive Coach, and now support people in leadership roles in finding their way back to themselves, without blowing up everything they’ve built.

What sets my coaching apart from traditional executive coaching
Many coaching approaches focus on methods, strategies, and performance. The goal is to optimize yourself and function better.
My work is about something else. It’s about coming back to yourself.
You step into a space where you don’t have to perform. You can say what you usually keep to yourself, without judgment, without consequences, and without shame.
My work is grounded in a simple but profound understanding of how your experience is created from within.
As that becomes clearer, your mind settles. Decisions become easier. You begin to lead yourself rather than constantly reacting.
And something shifts that most executive coaching doesn't address:
You don’t just show up differently at work, you show up differently at home.
You don’t just improve your decision-making, you become truly present with the people who matter to you.
You don’t just perform better, you come back to being the partner, the father, the friend, the healthy person you want to be.
This is about you, not just your role, but your whole life.
Let's talkYour path in coaching:
Find the calm.
Create with clarity.
Our work is one-on-one, online, and, when it feels right, in person in Frankfurt or the Taunus.
01 Where you are
We take an honest look, not in theory, but in your real life.
What is costing you the most energy right now?
Where do you notice that you’re functioning, but not really living?
No diagnosis. No judgment. Just clarity about what’s actually going on.
02 What you want
You know what you don’t want anymore. But what do you truly want?
We clarify what you want your life to look like,
in your role as a leader, as a person, and in your life beyond the desk.
Not what sounds reasonable, but what actually works for you.
03 Find the calm
You begin to see how stress, pressure, and uncertainty are created
and what happens when you no longer blindly follow them.
Your mind settles.
The mental noise loses its grip.
Clarity, creativity, and a steady sense of direction return..
04 Create with clarity
From that inner steadiness, you start changing things in practical ways.
Structures in your company.
Decisions that change the course of things.
Delegating more.
Routines that support your health and your family life.
Not all at once, but in a way that holds. You become more present and alive.
One subtle step at a time.
Committment

Most people in leadership roles I work with stay in the process for six to twelve months. The coaching is tailored to your needs and your budget.
What's included:
- One-on-one sessions (usually online, simple and flexible)
- Support between sessions via email and/or messenger
- Personal guidance on how to integrate what you see into your daily life
The investment ranges from €3,000 to €12,000.
In our first conversations, we'll explore what setup feels right for you and your current situation.
Let's talk
Hi, I'm Shailia.
Coach for more ease and success
that doesn’t cost you yourself
I’m Shailia Stephens, born in 1974, with a background in mathematics, business, and executive coaching, trained as a B.A., M.Sc., ICF PCC, and Master Transformative Coach.
This combination of analytical clarity, business expertise, and psychological depth shapes my work — clear, human, and deeply effective.
I've come to see that real peace doesn't come from controlling your circumstances, but from understanding how the mind works, and who we truly are beneath it.
Part of my heart resides in Africa.
I facilitate mental health programs rooted in the Three Principles in a refugee camp in Uganda, an orphanage in Kenya, and a women’s group in Tanzania.
In environments where hope often feels out of reach, people rediscover peace, and even joy.
These experiences have profoundly influenced my work as a coach and educator. They remind me daily that true wellbeing isn’t shaped by circumstances, but by how we understand our experience.
From that place, we can create and perform with clarity and strength.
Where our
work begins
Coaching, to me, is a collaboration between equals. It’s important that we both sense it’s right, and that begins with an open, honest conversation.
Step 1:
Initial conversation
A relaxed, no-pressure call — this is not about selling, but about really getting to know one another.
We look at where you are, what’s moving you right now, and what may be getting in the way of the life you actually want to live.
You’ll get a clear sense of what it’s like to work with me.
Step 2:
The right setup
If it feels right for both of us, we’ll look together at which timeframe and coaching format fits you best.
There’s no rush. Some decisions need space, and that’s okay.
I work with people who genuinely resonate with this way of working, and it matters that you feel comfortable and sure before moving forward.
Step 3:
Start right where you are
You don’t need to leave your life behind to reconnect with yourself. We work exactly where your life is happening.
Gradually, there’s more calm in your mind, more presence in your everyday life, and more clarity in how you lead yourself and others.
The foundation for a life that feels lighter and more alive, without losing your edge.
